Tape Initial Adhesion Tester. This tester was design for testing adhesive strength of tape products; judge the initial adhesion strength by the rolling distance of steel ball.

To back-stick (adhesive up) the specimen on 30゜slanting plank. Sticked the up side by adhesive and fixed the down side by counterweight to smooth the specimen, and place the steel ball on the 100mm. up away the specimen. To let steel ball go through 100mm runway into adhesive area, if the steel ball stays in 100mm runway over 5 seconds, record the number of biggest steel ball. (Re-test the smaller steel ball if the ball can’t be stuck on the runway.)
